Carpet Workshops is a company founded by Charles Clarke, a leading carpet designer and consultant to many leading brands with over 41 years of experience.

Charles is a self-taught artist and is unique in the world of carpets and rugs in that he is one of the few designers whose pieces are produced by his own hands in his factory based in London. Often combining interesting and diverse techniques with a traditional or contemporary palette which can be seen in the the gallery section of his work.

Carpet Workshops is aimed at both private clients and interior designers. With the company being able to handle large installations incorporating such media as fibre optics, leather, textiles and carpet sculpturing. The design only being limited by ones own imagination.

Charles demonstrates a shrewd understanding of the market when he says, “my work always evokes emotions in people, and each piece makes it own statement, i am not interested in blending into the background.”
